When I attended my foundations course while I enrolled at the School of Visual Arts, we had all sorts of fun computer illustration assignments. The course was called Visual Computing, and it was sort of like this course except it was geared more toward homework that allowed us to express our aesthetics as artists coming from various majors. We had this fun assignment using text to make a photo of someone or something, and I remember making Obama as my inspiration. I would love it if our class did this as an assignment one day and see how all of our work varies.
